As part of the £8bn West Coast Line Upgrade project, improvement works are taking place throughout May at weekends and some weekdays. Please bear with us, but we're working hard with Network Rail to bring you an even faster and more frequent service in 2009.
Whilst most engineering work is completed on time, some projects do overrun by hours at very short notice. You are strongly advised to check your journey details and revised timetables before you travel by selecting your date of travel from the below drop down menu, or visit nationalrail.co.uk (click on Live Updates/Current Service Alterations).
Reservations
We can confirm that for the second May Bank Holiday we are open for reservations between 24 and 30 May. For Saturday 31 May we hope to be open for reservations by 14 May. Selected services are open for Sunday 1 June and we hope to open the remainder by 8 May. For weekend travel beyond 1 June, all Sundays are open to 29 June, however we are still awaiting information regarding Saturdays and will update you as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience.
