It's yet another convenient way of getting your ticket to travel with Virgin Trains. Just choose the e-ticket delivery option when you book online and your ticket will be emailed to you within 2 hours. Simply print it out and bring along a form of ID (matching the passenger name).
Buying your e-ticket
Make sure you bring:

Once you've bought an e-ticket they cannot be exchanged or refunded, so remember...
Before you get to the station, be sure to:
Print your e-ticket and bring it with you.
Bring a form of ID (Credit or Debit card, National Railcard, Passport or Driving License) matching the passenger name, otherwise your e-ticket won't be valid.
If you haven't done all of the above, a new ticket at the full fare will have to be bought to travel.
Your e-tickets will be e-mailed to you as a PDF for you to print 2 hours after booking. See an example e-ticket
e-tickets are available for all Advance tickets when travelling exclusively on Virgin Trains and/or Cross Country.
Don't worry; all tickets are logged in your account 2 hours after purchase. Simply log on to the My Account section and reprint your e-ticket, it won't cost you a penny more.
