e-tickets (self-print)

It's yet another convenient way of getting your ticket to travel with Virgin Trains. Just book online and choose the e-ticket delivery option, your ticket will then be emailed to you 2 hours after booking. Print it out and bring it along with the card you used to purchase the ticket for the simplest way to travel.

Buying your e-ticket

  1. Buy your tickets online

  2. Make sure you bring:

    1. Your printed
      e-ticket
    2. The card you paid with
  3. Hop aboard and off you go

What services will it be available for?

e-tickets are available for all Advance tickets when travelling exclusively on Virgin Trains and/or Cross Country.

Lost or not received your e-ticket?

Don't worry; all tickets are logged in your account 2 hours after purchase. Simply log on to the My Account section and reprint your e-ticket, it won't cost you a penny more.

e-ticket conditions

  • Ticket will be emailed to you to print 2 hours after booking.

  • To travel, you must bring the printed e-ticket and the payment card used to make the booking.

  • If you don't have them, a new ticket at the full fare will have to be bought to travel.

  • The lead passenger name must match the payment card name.

  • e-tickets are non-exchangeable and non-transferable.
