  • Late night route improvements between Northampton and Rugby

    Routes:

    • London - Birmingham - Wolverhampton

    Date: Saturday 21 December

    What is happening?

    The last services on the London Euston to Wolverhampton route, will be diverted en route.

    2107 Wolverhampton to London Euston – As booked to Rugby, diverted via Northampton and runs later into London Euston.

    2143 London Euston to Wolverhampton – As booked to Milton Keynes Central, diverted via Northampton and runs later from Rugby.

  • Late night route improvements in the Northampton area.

    Routes:

    • London - Birmingham - Wolverhampton

    What is happening?

    The 2245 Wolverhampton to London Euston service will be diverted en route, not calling at Northampton

    Alternative route:

    A rail replacement coach will depart from Rugby, calling at Long Buckby and Northampton only.

    Advice:

    Please allow an extra 40 minutes approximately, for your journey.

  • Late night route improvements in the Northampton area.

  • Late night betweem Birmingham New Street and Wolverhampton

    Routes:

    • London - Birmingham - Wolverhampton

    Date: From Monday 02 December until Thursday 05 December

    What is happening?

    Both the 2230 and 2330 London Euston to Wolverhampton
    services, will terminate at Birmingham New Street.

    Alternative route:

    The last direct service to Wolverhampton departs from London Euston at 2143.

  • Late night service to Manchester Piccadilly not calling at Crewe

    Routes:

    • London - Manchester

    Date: From Monday 25 November until Thursday 28 November

    What is happening?

    The 2200 London Euston to Manchester Piccadilly service will be diverted from Stafford via Stoke-on-Trent and Macclesfield, to Manchester Piccadilly.

    Alternative route:

    Passengers for Crewe should change at Stafford for the London Midland 2353 Stafford to Crewe service.

    Until midday onwards the following will apply:

    Services on the London Euston to Liverpool Lime Street route, will start / terminate at Crewe.

    Services on the London to Preston / Scotland routes, will start from / terminate at Warrington Bank Quay.

    Services on the Birmingham to Scotland route, will be diverted between Crewe and Warrington Bank Quay via Chester (not calling).

    Passengers on the London to Scotland route are advised to change at either, Crewe, Warrington Bank Quay or Preston, onto the Birmingham to Scotland services.

    Services from Glasgow Central will start from Carlisle at booked time, with the exception of the 0937 departure, this service will depart from Lancaster at booked time.

    Alternative route:

    Rail replacement coaches will operate in both directions between:

    Crewe - Runcorn - Liverpool Lime Street


    And in the following directions:

    Runcorn to Crewe
    Wigan North Western to Warrington Bank Quay to Crewe

    1930 London Euston to Preston is cancelled.
    2030 London Euston to Preston will terminate at Crewe.

    The 2200 London Euston to Manchester Piccadilly service will be diverted en route from Wilmslow, not calling at Stockport.

    The last direct service to Stockport departs from London Euston at 2140.
