    Improvements to Britain's railway, will be taking place in between Milton Keynes Central and Rugby.

    Alternative route:

    Both the 22:30 and 23:30 London Euston to Wolverhampton services will be diverted via Northampton, running later from Rugby.

  • 05:00 Wolverhampton to London Euston

    Routes:

    • London - Birmingham - Wolverhampton - Shrewsbury

    Date: From Tuesday 02 June until Friday 05 June

    What is happening?

    The 05:00 Wolverhampton to London Euston service, will start from Birmingham New Street at booked time

    Alternative route:

    Passengers are advised to use the 05.24 Wolverhampton to London Euston service.


    Passengers for Rugby, should also use the 05.24 service, changing at Coventry for a London Midland service.

  • 21:45 Wolverhampton to London Euston

    Routes:

    • London - Birmingham - Wolverhampton - Shrewsbury

    Date: From Monday 01 June until Thursday 04 June

    What is happening?

    Improvements to Britain's railway, will be taking place in between Milton Keynes Central and Northampton.

    Alternative route:

    The 21.45 Wolverhampton to London Euston service, will run as booked to Rugby, diverted via Northampton, running later from Milton Keynes Central.  

    Advice:

    This diversion will add approximately 10 minutes to the overall journey time.

  • 22:45 Wolverhampton to London Euston

    Routes:

    • London - Birmingham - Wolverhampton - Shrewsbury

    Date: From Monday 25 May until Thursday 28 May

    Lockerbie to Carstairs - All day Monday until 06:00 on Tuesday 26 May.

    Alternative route:

    Rail replacement coaches will be in operation between:


    Carlisle - Glasgow Central / Edinburgh 

    Advice:

    All trains to / from Euston until late morning are diverted via Northampton with increased journey times.


    Train services FROM London Euston / Birmingham New Street to Glasgow Central / Edinburgh, will operate to / from Preston.


    Train services FROM Glasgow Central / Edinburgh to London Euston / Birmingham New Street, will operate to / from Carlisle.  


    There will be a very limited through service, with diversions via Dumfries, on the Carlisle to Glasgow Central route.

    Milton Keynes Central to Rugby - All day Sunday until midday on Monday 25 May.


    Crewe to Warrington Bank Quay - All day Sunday  until 05:00 on Monday 25 May. 


    Warrington Bank Quay to Wigan North Western - Until  16:00.


    Oxenholme Lake District area - From 10:00 on Sunday until 05:45 on Monay 25 May. 


    Lockerbie to Carstairs - All day Sunday until 06:00 on Tuesday 26 May.

    Alternative route:

    Rail replacement coaches will be in operation between:


    Wolverhampton - Stafford 


    Crewe - Runcorn


    Runcorn - Liverpool Lime St.


    Crewe - Warrington Bank Quay - Wigan North Western


    Carlisle - Glasgow Central / Edinburgh 

    Advice:

    All trains to / from Euston are diverted via Northampton with increased journey times.


    Trains that normally operatebetween London Euston and Glasgow Central, will operate between London Euston and Preston / Oxenholme Lake District. These services will also be diverted via Chester.


    Three trains per hour will operate between London Euston and Manchester Piccadilly. One Manchester Piccadilly service per hour, will be extended / start back from Liverpool Lime Street. This service will be unable to call at Runcorn and Crewe.


    North Wales services will operate between Crewe and Chester / Holyhead.

    Crewe to Warrington Bank Quay - From 13:00 on Saturday and until 05:00 on Monday 25 May. 


    Warrington Bank Quay to Wigan North Western - From 21:50 on Saturday until 16:00 on Sunday 24 May.


    Lockerbie to Carstairs - From 08:20 on Saturday until 06:00 on Tuesday 26 May.

    Alternative route:

    Rail replacement coaches will be in operation between:


    Wolverhampton - Stafford 


    Crewe - Runcorn


    Runcorn - Liverpool Lime St.


    Crewe - Warrington Bank Quay - Wigan North Western


    Carlisle - Glasgow Central / Edinburgh 

    Advice:

    From late morning all trains to / from Euston are diverted via Northampton with increased journey times.


    The 0426, 0540 and 0630 Glasgow Central to London Euston services, will operate as booked.


    After this time trains that normally operate between London Euston and Glasgow Central, will operate between London Euston and Carlisle only. From late morning these services will also be diverted via Chester.


    Manchester Piccadilly and Birmingham New Street services will be reduced from three to two per hour.


    The last direct train from London Euston to Liverpool Lime Street will depart at 11:07. The last direct train from Liverpool Lime Street to London Euston will depart at 11:47.


    North Wales services will operate between Crewe and Chester / Holyhead.

  • 22:45 Wolverhampton to London Euston

    Routes:

    • London - Birmingham - Wolverhampton - Shrewsbury

    Date: From Monday 18 May until Thursday 21 May

    Improvements to Britain's railway, will be taking place in the Rugby area.

    Alternative route:

    The 22:45 Wolverhampton to London Euston - Will not call at Northampton. 

    Advice:

    A rail replacement coach will depart from Rugby 23:50, calling at Long Buckby 00:15, and Northampton 00:40 only.

  • 21:45 Wolverhampton to London Euston

    Routes:

    • London - Birmingham - Wolverhampton - Shrewsbury

    Date: From Tuesday 12 May until Thursday 14 May

    What is happening?

    Improvements to Britain's railway, will be taking place between Milton Keynes Central and Rugby.

    The 21.45 Wolverhampton to London Euston service, will run as booked to Rugby, diverted via Northampton, running later from Milton Keynes Central.  

    Advice:

    This diversion will add approximately 10 minutes to the overall journey time.

    Until midday, train services between Milton Keynes Central and Rugby, will be diverted via Northampton, this will extend journey times.


    Train services between London Euston and Glasgow Central, will operate between London Euston and Carlisle only, with extended journey times (until midday) due to the diversion mentioned above. 


    Train services Birmingham New Street and Glasgow Central, will not run.


    Train services between Birmingham New Street and Edinburgh, will operate between Carlisle and Edinburgh only.

    Advice:

    Train services between Milton Keynes Central and Rugby, will be diverted via Northampton, this will extend journey times.


    Train services between Birmingham New Street - Wolverhampton, and Wolverhampton - Stafford, will be replaced by road transfer. 


    With train services not being able to call at Stafford, services will be diverted by Alsager, this will extend journey times.


    Train services between Crewe and Warrington Bank Quay, will be diverted via Manchester Piccadilly, this will extend journey times. Trains will not be able to call at Warrington Bank Quay.


    One of our Manchester Piccadilly services (per hour) will start from / be extended to Liverpool Lime Street. These services will be unable to call at Runcorn, Crewe or Stafford.



    Train services between London Euston and Glasgow Central, will operate between London Euston and Penrith only, with extended journey times due to the diversions mentioned above. These services will also not call at Warrington Bank Quay.


    Train services between London Euston / Birmingham New Street and Glasgow Central / Edinburgh will not run.


    Shrewsbury services are withdrawn.


    North Wales services will operate between Crewe and Chester / Holyhead.

    With train services not being able to call at Stafford, services will be diverted by Alsager, this will extend journey times.


    From 13:00 onwards, train services between Crewe and Warrington Bank Quay, will be diverted via Manchester Piccadilly, this will extend journey times. Trains will not be able to call at Warrington Bank Quay.


    The last direct train service from London Euston to Liverpool Lime Street via Runcorn departs at 1107. The last direct train service from Liverpool Lime Street via Runcorn will depart at 1147. After these departures one of our Manchester Piccadilly services (per hour) will start from / be extended to Liverpool Lime Street. These services will be unable to call at Runcorn, Crewe or Stafford.


    Train services between London Euston and Glasgow Central, will operate between London Euston and Carlisle only, with extended journey times due to the diversions mentioned above. 


    Train services between London Euston / Birmingham New Street and Glasgow Central / Edinburgh will run between London Euston and Wolverhampton.


    Shrewsbury services are withdrawn.


    North Wales services will operate between Crewe and Chester / Holyhead.
