Food and drink on weekends and bank holidays

Man being served coffee at his seat

Travelling in First Class at weekends and UK bank holidays means you'll get one of our snazzy snack boxes along with as much free tea, coffee and water as you can drink.

From the start of the day until 10.59 the snack box contains still water, orange juice, a bag of dried fruit, a croissant and a low fat yoghurt.

From 11am onwards, the snack box contains still water, orange juice, crisps, a bag of dried fruit, chocolate and a biscuit.

All snack boxes also come with a puzzle sheet with pencil. You can't eat it, but it is quite fun.

We try to bring you the best and most delicious snacky bits we can, so the goodies in our snack boxes are subject to change and availability (and will actually change fairly regularly because of this).

On most trains snack boxes will be served at your seat, but on some trains you may have to visit The Shop and show your First Class ticket to pick up your refreshments.

Don't forget, you can kick back in our lounges before you jump onboard but opening times may vary, so please check before you travel.
