Virgin Trains celebrate the release of X-Men: Days of Future PastTweet
Can you feel that faint rumble in the distance? It’s the hotly anticipated UK release of X-Men: Days of Future Past arriving.
We’ve joined forces with 20th Century Fox to be the official UK travel partner for ‘X-Men: Days of Future Past’, and to celebrate, we’ve wrapped an 11-car Pendolino with key X-Men: Days of Future Past characters which from 31 March will be speeding passengers across the country so fast it will feel like time travel.
We like to think our staff are everyday superheroes, and with our promise of speed and saving time, you can experience the future in destinations across the UK in no time at all.
Adrian Varma, Partnerships and Regions Manager at Virgin Trains said: “We‘re always looking for different ways to bring the Virgin Train experience to life for our customers and we‘re excited to welcome stars from the film to officially name our Virgin Train ‘X-Men: Days of Future Past’. Partnerships are all about creating an immersive experience and we hope the newly refurbished X-Men train will do this for our customers and help to create excitement around the film.”
A blockbuster cast was present at the naming and unveiling of an X-Men-wrapped Pendolino train on Monday 31 March at London Euston station.
The young Professor X (one James McAvoy) travelled forwards in time to unveil the train alongside Wolverine (also known as Hugh Jackman).
Competition winners had prime view of the ceremony and were sped away onboard the newly-named ’X-Men: Days of Future Past‘ train to a special screening of X-Men: First Class at Birmingham Genting Arena to get them in the mood for the next epic instalment.
