We make sure everyone who’d like assistance during their journey gets all the help they need. Letting us know your needs in advance can help us make sure you have a hassle-free journey. If you're travelling within 24 hours, please give us a call instead on 08000 158 123. We keep your personal and journey data in the Passenger Assist booking system for two years and share your journey data with other Train Operating Companies and Network Rail so they can help you on the rest of your journey. That way we know you’re taken care of even when you’re not on one of our trains.

We're also making our public address systems easier to hear, and improving accessibility in our waiting rooms and car parks. We’re determined to make every customer’s journey as easy as it can be.
Onboard, we've made sure that all our new trains comply with the 1998 Rail Vehicle Accessibility Regulations. That means they have:
- Accessible toilets with grab handles and alarms
- Wider doorways and highly visible exterior doors
- Wheelchair spaces in First Class and Standard Class – equipped with low-level tables and emergency alarms (please remember to reserve these priority spaces 24 hours in advance)
