Spanner in the works
Engineering works during May bank holidays
Major improvement works are taking place along the West Coast Mainline on 29 April to 1 May and 27 to 29 May 2017. It will affect all trains to and from London Euston.
Whether you are travelling northbound or southbound, the amended routes stay the same.
If you choose to travel you'll need to plan carefully and allow longer to get to your destination. We'd hate for you to get caught up, so please check before you travel.
The works are part of an ongoing improvement scheme from Network Rail to replace signalling and lineside equipment and lay new track. The works will help make the route more reliable and robust - meaning an even better service all round for you.
