About Birmingham New Street station

Birmingham International train station was designed by the architect Ray Moorcroft and opened on 26 January 1976. It now functions as one of Birmingham's main train stations and sits adjacent to Birmingham Airport and the National Exhibition Centre. The station offers high speed connections from Birmingham to London, Glasgow, Manchester and Liverpool. Assistance is also available to and from platforms, the car park and taxi rank. Station facilities include a First Class Lounge, a range of shops and eateries, and bicycle storage.
