First Class weekend travel
A First Class upgrade at the weekend (or on bank holidays) is more affordable than you might think. You pay from just £10 to upgrade anywhere between Euston and Wolverhampton, and from £15 on all other routes. Under-16s go for £5 each way on top of their Standard ticket, and under-5s travel for free. So why not treat yourself? Settle into a comfy First Class seat and enjoy more space to relax, complimentary snacks, drinks and WiFi for the journey.
Served until 10:59
From our first train on a Saturday morning until 10.59, we’ll get your weekend off to a tasty start with a fresh Danish pastry and a piece of fruit.
Served after 11:00
From 11.00 onwards, we’ll treat you to a sweet or savoury snack, or if you’re travelling a little later in the day, a cheese and biscuit pack, along with a piece of fruit.
Don't forget, you can kick back in our lounges before you come aboard, but opening times may vary. Please check before you travel.
Find out more about our First Class lounges.
If you're travelling on bank holidays, the menus differ slightly depending on which of our trains you're travelling on.
Travelling before 12:59 on our Pendolino trains, we'll be sure to make you a nice warm bacon or vegetarian sausage baguette or there's fresh fruit. On our Super Voyager trains, you can grab a bacon muffin, porridge pot or there's fresh fruit.
From 13:00 onwards, on all trains we’ll be treating you to a sweet or savoury snack. Or if you’re travelling a little later in the day a cheese and biscuit pack, along with a piece of fruit.
On most trains the refreshments will be served at your seat, but on some trains you may have to pop to our onboard shop to pick them up (just show your First Class ticket).
