Friday 24th February 2017
Due to Storm Doris, our West Coast services were severely disrupted yesterday (Thursday 23rd February 2017).
Any passenger that did not travel due to the disruption may use their ticket on our services on the booked route at any time today before 14:00, or at any time on Saturday 25th February 2017.
Upgrade your weekend. Travel in style over the weekend (or bank holiday) with a comfy First Class seat, more space to relax, complimentary snacks, drinks and free WiFi.
A First Class upgrade is more affordable than you might think (see some of our upgrade prices below). To find out more about the full range of upgrade options, have a chat with your Train Manager.
The easiest way to upgrade is when you’re booking your ticket online. If you select a Super Off-Peak/Off-Peak ticket in First Class, the cost of the upgrade is already included in this ticket price.
Served until 10:59
From our first train on a Saturday morning until 10.59, we’ll get your weekend off to a tasty start with an individual classic panattone and a piece of fruit.
Served after 11:00
From 11.00 onwards, we’ll treat you to a sweet or savoury snack, or if you’re travelling a little later in the day, a cheese and biscuit pack, along with a piece of fruit.
Don't forget, you can kick back in our lounges before you come aboard, but opening times may vary. Please check before you travel.
If you're travelling on bank holidays, the menus differ slightly depending on which of our trains you're travelling on.
Travelling before 12:59 on our Pendolino trains, we'll be sure to make you a nice warm bacon or vegetarian sausage roll or there's fresh fruit. On our Super Voyager trains, you can grab a bacon muffin, porridge pot or there's fresh fruit.
From 13:00 onwards, on all trains we’ll be treating you to a sweet or savoury snack. Or if you’re travelling a little later in the day a cheese and biscuit pack, along with a piece of fruit.
On most trains the refreshments will be served at your seat, but on some trains you may have to pop to our onboard shop to pick them up (just show your First Class ticket).
