Upgrade your weekend by treating yourself to a comfy First Class seat, more space to relax, complimentary snacks, drinks and free WiFi.

A First Class upgrade at the weekend (or on bank holidays) is more affordable than you might think. Pay from just £10 to upgrade anywhere between Euston and Wolverhampton, and from £15 on all other routes. Under-16s go for £5 each way on top of their Standard ticket, and under-5s travel for free (upgrade prices valid up until 22 May 2016).

Upgrading to First Class

When you book a First Class ticket online for weekend or bank holiday travel, the price you’ll see is for an off-peak ticket, with an upgrade already included. If you’re feeling spontaneous and decide to treat yourself to an upgrade on the day, just ask your train manager. They’ll be happy to bump you up to First Class and you can pay them on the spot.
