About Manchester Piccadilly station

Opened as Store Street in 1842, Manchester train station was renamed Manchester London Road in 1847 and Manchester Piccadilly in 1960. Today it is the principal railway station in Manchester, offering high speed trains to London, Birmingham, Glasgow and Liverpool. Situated in the South East city centre, the station is well-connected to Manchester's main attractions. Assistance is also available to and from platforms, the car park and taxi rank.
