What is a National Railcard?

National Railcards get you a 1/3 off your rail fares. Options include 16-25, Two Together, Family & Friends, and Senior Railcards and can deliver massive savings for frequent train travellers.

How much do Railcards cost?

A 12-month National Railcard costs just £30 and can save you on average £147 per year. That’s enough to buy a Eurostar ticket, with enough left over for a croissant and coffee. You can even buy one online to make things easier — it’s the gift that keeps on giving!

When can you use a Railcard?

National Railcards can be used on Standard and First Class Anytime, Off-Peak and Advance fares on train services throughout Great Britain, when you travel after peak periods (after 9:30am) Monday to Friday, and any time at weekends and on Public Holidays. If you are traveling during July or August travel any time, restriction free!

We don’t sell Railcards ourselves – just follow the links below to buy or apply for one. Once you’ve signed up, remember to use your Railcard when buying tickets with us, and we’ll knock a third off your travel price. Nice!
